Safety
FIRST
Safety Affords Our Bodies and Minds the Ability to Heal
Physical safety is the priority, followed by providing the care needed to move forward, including addressing trauma for themselves and their family, providing education about their past relationships, and establishing connections in the community that support physical and emotional safety.
Our commitment to survivors doesn't end when we find them a safe place to stay. A Bridgeway Advocate will continue to offer services as long as our clients need them.
Our advocates will work closely with case managers and staff, and we conduct regular follow-up services to identify and address any ongoing needs, connecting clients with the resources they require to thrive.
Follow-up Care
Our team will work diligently to identify the best shelter for your specific needs, considering factors such as location and available services. A Bridgeway Advocate will provide support throughout the process, helping you navigate the application process and access any necessary resources.
Safe Night
Temporary Hotel Rooms
Offer someone a chance to receive support in a time of need.
When shelters are full, Bridgeway Advocates can work to temporarily place survivors at a hotel until a safe, longer-term shelter is found.
Using the SafeNight mobile app, you can make a tax-deductible donation that pays for that hotel night.
When someone needs help, you will receive a notification on your phone that alerts you of an individual or family who needs a safe night.
